- On the right side, you can see Yoast assessing your post’s readability and SEO score.
- The reason they Yoast SEO is showing “Not available” is because we haven’t provided a focus keyword or keywords.
- To do that, scroll down below until you see Yoast SEO box
- On the Focus Keyword, type your keywords.
- There’s three (3) colors Yoast assess your article.
- Red – Bad
- Orange – Ok
- Green – Good
- When you see “The focus keyword contains a stop word. This may or may not be wise depending on the circumstances. Learn more about the stop words.” just ignore it.
- Focus instead on the ones that are red.
- If it says that “No meta description has been specified. Search engines will display copy from the page instead.”
- To do this, scroll up a little and you’ll see Edit snippet. Click on it and put a description stuffed with your keywords on the meta description.
- You can see a ‘status bar’ below that will turn into orange if its ok or green if its good.
- Close snippet when it already turned into green.
- If it says “No internal links appear in this page, consider adding some as appropriate.”
- Try to link your current article to your other article that you may have written.
- To do this, highlight a phrase and click on the chain-like icon to insert/edit link or you could also click on Ctrl + K

- Then click on the “link options“, and look for an article to link to on your site, then click on “Open link in new tab” and click on Add Link.
- If it says that “The images on this page are missing alt attributes.” you just have to click on any image you have on your article or post and then on the Alt Text add your focus keyword on it as the image alternative text and change as well the title of the image into something that is decent, although the title won’t do anything on the SEO still a decent title is okay.
If there’s still orange and red on the Analysis below, you can disregard them as long as you have achieve your goal which is to make the Yoast SEO into Green or Good.
